Climate Positive Perth

Commissioned by Brad Pettitt MLC’s office, Climate Positive Perth set out to answer a bold question: How can we tackle climate change while accommodating 3.5 million people in Perth by 2050? The campaign needed to communicate complex ideas around sustainability and urban growth in a way that felt fresh, approachable and easy to understand.

I created a flexible identity system built around four campaign pillars — energy, urban greening, housing, and transport — each represented by a set of simple, friendly icons. The accompanying report design expanded on this language with bold chapter openers, a clear typographic hierarchy, colour-coded sections, and image-led layouts. The result was a bright, optimistic campaign that made big-picture ideas about Perth’s future feel accessible and actionable.
