Melville Summer Music

The City of Melville asked me to create an identity for their annual Melville Summer Music series — free, family-friendly concerts held in local parks across summer weekends. The branding needed to feel fun, inclusive and laid-back, while working seamlessly across everything from large posters and digital billboards to event programs and online assets.

I designed a bold, rhythmic typographic system paired with a sun-drenched colour palette that instantly signals summer. Collaborating with artist Bruno Booth, we introduced playful illustrations that gave the campaign warmth and a distinctly local touch. Rolled out across print and digital platforms, the identity became bright, accessible and unmistakably summery — so successful it was used for three consecutive years, with refreshed artwork each season.
