New Farm

NewFarm is a 62-acre property between Denmark and Walpole in Western Australia’s Great Southern region — part accommodation, part event space, and part rehabilitation project. The owners wanted a brand identity that reflected the site’s eco-focused, community-driven spirit while feeling grounded in the natural beauty of the landscape.

Taking cues from the old water tank that greets guests on arrival, I built the logo and monogram within a hexagonal frame — clean and geometric, yet with a rustic sensibility that echoes the property’s character. This shape evolved into a honeycomb pattern, a nod to the resident beehives. The identity rolled out across signage, maps, merchandise and labels for their small-batch preserves, with a colour palette drawn from NewFarm’s lush greens and peachy sunsets.
